The four winning entries of Stanley Revisited, a competition launched and curated by KANVA that started with an architectural renovation project, set out to reinforce the relationship between art and architecture and question the dialogue between old and new in an urban context.

The winners, who come from an array of disciplines, were selected by a jury consisting of visual artist David Spriggs, Parisian Laundry director Jeanie Riddle, journalist Alain Hochereau and art historian/curator Jean-François Bélisle. The exhibition took place from August 24 to September 3, 2011 at the reknown Société des arts technologiques (SAT) of Montreal.
