Entre les rangs travels to Niagara Falls

This winter, our urban art installation Entre les rangs will be displayed as part of the 2024-2025 Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights, Canada’s largest illumination festival and the premiere illumination festival in North America.

For its 42nd year, the Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights will feature over 75 different lighting displays and 3 million lights. From november 16th to january 5th, discover Entre les rangs along the Niagara Parkway.

Entre les rangs revisits the agricultural history of Quebec, the row settlements along the St. Lawrence River indicative of the 17th century Seigneurial system of New France, to contextualize a dialogue with a contemporary urban context.

As a reference to Quebec’s wheat fields that undulate in the wind and through the seasons, the contemporary installation Entre les rangs is comprised of thousands of flexible stems topped with white reflectors that take advantage of the surrounding stimuli to create an ever-shifting array of animation.
