Inspired by the natural setting of Mont Saint-Hilaire, as well as the human values of Collège Saint-Hilaire, the tree appears as the representative tool of the project's multiple connections. This tree refers to the plurality of connections, the multiple organic branching developed around the needs and according to the inherent conditions of the site.

Similar to a fruit tree, the college is rooted in a strong past, anchored in human values based on fraternity and sharing. Its roots allow for the growth and blossoming of multiple upwardly-growing branches. Inspired by the surrounding natural context, as well as the College's values of fraternity and sharing, the Tree appears as a tool symbolizing the project's multiple connections, a strong image serving as a reference point for the architectural concept. As the protagonist of the forest, its intrinsic presence in its environment evokes the plurality of links it creates. From its branches arise multiple possibilities, all developed around the needs and conditions inherent to the site. It represents connectivity, from the roots to the crown, having at its core student development.
